BY FAR ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR EVENTS DURING BOB WILLS DAYS!
Every year on the Last Saturday of April, we celebrate the life and music of Bob Wills. One of our favorite events is the Outdoor Concert. For fifty years, Dr. Bud Townsend was the master of ceremonies for this event and sadly, for our 51st Bob Wills Day, he will not be with us. We can only hope that he is sitting next to Bob and that they are enjoying the music that is still living on in Turkey, Texas!
We have had artists play on this stage including Jason Roberts, Joe Settlimires, Asleep at the Wheel, Lee Roy Parnell and every Texas Playboy who has played Bob Wills Music!
The Outdoor Concert is FREE, but we do pass around the tip jar for donations to the Bob Wills Foundation so that we can keep hosting this fabulous event! Please Join us APRIL 29, 2023 AT 2:30PM ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD! Ahh Haa
